Psalm: 90

Meditation

Job: This is Eliphaz’s first speech. He tried to soften his message by announcing the he (Eliphaz) seeks to render Job a service as was Job’s custom. Job had complained earlier that he (Job) was blameless before God and now his friends beginning with Eliphaz seek to dismantle Job’s claims reminding him that God does not punish the righteous. No good deed goes unpunished.

Gospel: Mark :1-6a

New Testament: Revelation 4:1-11

Old Testament: Job 4:1-6, 12-21
